About the Color Picker and Converter
The three formats suit different jobs: HEX is what you paste into most stylesheets, RGB is what canvas and image code expects, and HSL is the one to reach for when building a palette, because adjusting lightness while holding hue and saturation gives you a coherent set of tints. Picking from an image is the fastest way to match a brand colour you have only received as a logo file.

How do I find the colour code in an image?
Upload the image and click the point you want — the exact HEX, RGB and HSL values for that pixel are shown.
What is the difference between HEX, RGB and HSL?
They describe the same colour differently. HEX and RGB give red, green and blue amounts; HSL gives hue, saturation and lightness, which is easier to adjust deliberately.
Is my image uploaded?
No. It is read locally in your browser.
Can I pick a colour from anywhere on my screen?
In Chrome and Edge, yes — the eyedropper button opens the browser's native screen picker so you can sample any pixel, including from another window. Other browsers do not expose that API yet, so there you enter or adjust the colour manually.
