Terms of service
These terms govern your use of toolsguru.shop. They are written in plain English on purpose. By using the site you accept them.
1. The service
Tools Guru provides 106 free web-based utilities. No registration is required and no fee is charged. We may add, change or withdraw any tool at any time without notice, and we may modify these terms; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
2. Acceptable use
You may use the tools for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, including in a business setting, without attribution. You may not: use the site to process material you have no right to process; attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its infrastructure; scrape the site at a rate that degrades it for others; or reproduce the site's code, layout or content as a competing service.
3. Output belongs to you
Anything you create with our tools — a resume, an invoice, a certificate, a QR code, a converted file — is yours. We claim no ownership, no licence and no right to use it. We do not watermark output and we do not retain copies, because in almost every case the output never reaches us.
4. Accuracy and the absence of professional advice
We work hard on correctness and we verify our formulas against published sources. Even so, the tools are provided for general information and convenience. They are not financial, legal, medical, tax, nutritional or engineering advice, and they must not be relied upon as a substitute for a qualified professional. This applies with particular force to the loan, mortgage, EMI, tax, investment, BMI, body fat, calorie, pregnancy and Zakat tools. Please read the full disclaimer.
5. Third-party services
A small number of tools call third-party APIs to fetch live data, and the site carries third-party advertising. We do not control those services, we do not guarantee their availability or accuracy, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to your interaction with them.
6. Intellectual property
The Tools Guru name, logo, page designs, written content and source code are owned by us and protected by copyright. Third-party open-source libraries used within the tools remain under their respective licences.
7. Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tools Guru and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or connected with your use of the site — including any decision taken in reliance on a calculated result. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where such limitation is prohibited by law.
9. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Tools Guru against claims arising from your unlawful use of the site or your breach of these terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the courts of Punjab have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you hold in your country of residence.
