About the Image Resizer
Forms and platforms specify pixel sizes, and uploading something larger often gets it cropped in a way you did not choose. Resizing to the exact requested dimensions first puts you in control of the framing. Enlarging a small image cannot add detail that was never captured, so scaling down gives good results while scaling up looks soft. Everything is processed locally.
Frequently asked questions
Will resizing reduce quality?
Scaling down is essentially lossless to the eye. Scaling up cannot invent detail, so enlarged images look softer.
Can I resize without distorting the image?
Yes — keep the aspect ratio lock enabled and enter only one dimension.
Is my photo uploaded anywhere?
No. Resizing happens in your browser and the image never leaves your device.
