About the Time Zone Converter
Most time zone mistakes happen in the last week of March and the last week of October, when different countries move their clocks on different dates — the gap between London and New York is five hours for most of the year but four hours for a fortnight in spring. This converter reads the IANA time zone database that ships with your browser, so it knows each region's actual switch dates rather than assuming a fixed offset. Below the result you also get a small world clock for the same instant, which is the fastest way to sanity-check a call time before you send the invite.

How do I convert a meeting time between two countries?
Enter the date and time as it appears on the clock in the first country, set that country's zone as the 'from' zone, and pick the other country as the 'to' zone. The result is the local time attendees there will see.
Does this handle daylight saving time?
Yes. Each zone is looked up in the IANA database, so a time in July and the same time in January can produce different offsets — which is exactly what you want.
What is the difference between UTC and GMT?
For everyday purposes they read the same. UTC is the atomic-clock standard that time zones are defined against; GMT is a time zone that happens to sit at UTC+0 in winter, and the UK moves to UTC+1 in summer.
Why do some zones show an offset with 30 or 45 minutes?
Not every zone is a whole hour from UTC. India is UTC+5:30, Nepal is UTC+5:45 and parts of Australia are UTC+9:30, so the difference shown can include a fraction of an hour.
